HIGHLIGHTS from APRIL MEETING

4月は新学期ということで、今回のミーティングのテーマは「Starting a New School Year」でした。新しいことを始めるのって楽しいですよね？

 

僕は2月に入会しましたから、ちょっと早めに新学期を始めたかんじ(笑)。あ、と言っても、Toastmasters自体は他のクラブで5年以上前からやっていて、スピーチコンテストにも出場してるしクラブの役員も色々経験してます。それでもね、クラブごとにやり方とか雰囲気とか微妙に違うんで、今回General Evaluator（ミーティング全体の良かった点や改善点を最後にまとめてフィードバックする係）を担当したのは新鮮な感じでした。

 

そして、今回新しいことに挑戦したのは僕だけやなかったんです。自称「ローテク教育担当」はZoomのホストを初体験したし、入会半年の新メンバー、”かまやん”は即興スピーチを練習するセッション、Table Topics sessionの司会（Topicsmaster）を初めて担当しました。これがね、見事な仕切りっぷりだったんです。

 

Table Topicsというのは、まずトピックが発表されてから一人が指名され、指名された人は（少し考える時間はありますが）すぐに話し始めるものなので、ゲストの方はあまり指名しないんですよね。初めての人の前でいきなり話すって、ハードル高いでしょ？　なのに、かまやん、最初に「ゲストにお願いしましょう」って言うもんやからGeneral Evaluatorとしては「あらら」なんて思いながら見てたんですよ。そしたら、かまやん、ゲストはゲストでも他のToastmasters clubのベテランメンバーを一人目にご指名。そのゲストがうまいこと話しはった後の2人目には僕を指名（！）。普通、General Evaluatorのように結構たくさん話す機会があるメンバーにはTable Topicsは当てないんで、「これもフィードバックが必要かなぁ」と思いながらも、2分ちょっと話しました。で、3人目で正真正銘のゲストを指名。この方もなかなかスムーズにお話になってましたね。良かった良かった。

 

で、あとで聞いたら、最初にベテランToastmasterゲストを指名したのも、2番目に僕を指名したのも、ゲストの方にTable Topicsがどんなものなのかを知ってもらうために意図的に当てたってことでした。んー、なかなかの策士！(笑)

 

さてさて、ミーティングでは他のメンバーも活躍してました。News Masterは新疆ウイグル自治区の状況を、歴史や文化の説明も併せてまとめてくれましたし、Prepared Speech Sessionでは、2人の上司のリーダーシップスタイルを例に挙げて相手や状況に応じたリーダーシップの取り方についてのスピーチと、フラダンスの先生から学んだ体験をもとに日常生活の至るところにあるPearls of Wisdomを活かそうというスピーチ2本、そしてEvaluation Sessionでは2人のEvaluatorがスピーチのevaluationをし、さらに別の2人が2人のEvaluatorたちのevaluation speechをevaluationするという、Toastmastersを象徴するような感じでしたね。（Toastmastersでは講師が評価するのではなくて、メンバーが相互にフィードバックしあうpeer feedbackを通して学ぶのが一つの特徴で、そのpeer feedbackの代表がevaluation speechなんですよ）　それ以外にもGeneral Evaluatorのお株を奪うくらい詳しいAh-Counterの報告もめっちゃ役立つ情報満載でした。

 

ミーティングの最後には来期（7月から来年の6月まで）の役員の推薦候補が発表されまして、5月のミーティングでは役員選挙があるんです。これもToastmastersの特徴の一つやと思うんですけど、ちょっと長くなりすぎてる気がするので、その話はまた別の機会にということにしましょう。

HIGHLIGHTS from MARCH MEETING

 

桜が満開ですね。3月の例会のテーマは「Spring has come！」

TMODのR.Hさんのバックグラウンドはきれいな桜の風景でした。

晴れやかな春の気分で例会はスタート。来てくださったゲストに対してTMODがAgendaを説明しながら進めます。

「Prepared speech session」はToastmasters の例会では、お花見で言う「お弁当」つまりメインですよ。説明も春らしいですね。

そしてWord of the day―みんなに使ってもらいたい本日の言葉も「Sprout」とまた春の息吹を感じさせる言葉です。

本日のスピーチは、Pathways のプロジェクトに沿ったPrepared Speechが3本と、News Masterによるニュースの紹介の計4本です。

 卓球プレイヤーでもあるNews Master のMKさんのニュースの紹介はドーハの卓球ワールドカップ。東日本大震災から10年となる今年、張本さんが被災地東北に届けた優勝のニュースを「わ・す・れ・な・い」の言葉とともに紹介してくださいました。

続いてPrepared Speech 3本。

TFさんの「Coffee break」。1日3杯のコーヒーを飲むとよいのですね！Evaluation and Feedbackは前回のスピーチから、Evaluationを参考にさらにスピーチを向上させることを狙ったPJですが、顔や声の表情を含め、前回よりさらにスピーチがよくなりましたね！

2番手のHTさんは一番新しいメンバーながら、ベテランToastmaster。Research and PresentingのPJで、見事に千里のデモグラフィックをリサーチし、今後の活性化についてお話くださいました。千里の仲間が増えますように♪

3番目のMKさん。あ、MKさんがかぶってしまいましたのでM子さんにしましょう。M子さんは千里の中でもトーストマスター歴の長いベテランさんではありますが、今回のPathwaysのPJとしてはIcebreaker、つまり自己紹介を兼ねたスピーチです。アート専攻のM子さんが、もう一つの夢だった先生になることを実現されたお話。素晴らしい語り口で楽しく聞くことができました。

もう何年もご一緒しているのに、アート専攻だったとは今回初めて知りました！スピーチって、その人の考え方やストーリーが聞けて、いつも新たな発見がありますね！楽しいです。

EvaluationセッションではEvaluatorたちが各スピーチを評価するスピーチをしていきます。Evaluation＆Feedbackスピーチでは前回のEvaluatorと同じ人が評価します。ベテランの2人のスピーカーに対しても、ためになるSuggestionの入ったEvaluation スピーチでした。

さて、KKさんによるTable Topics Sessionです。テーマは「Welcome speech」。海外赴任から帰ってきた社員への歓迎のスピーチ、人事担当者の新入社員への歓迎スピーチ、校長先生のスピーチ、結婚する親友へ送る結婚式のスピーチ。まるで自分たちが歓迎されているような、先が楽しみになるみなさんのスピーチでした。AS会長とゲストのAさんが、目の前に光景が浮かぶような生き生きとしたスピーチでベスト賞を獲得！

さて、来月4月は新たな出会いのシーズンです。歓迎スピーチで季節を先取りしましたが、来月も新たな出会いがたくさんありますように！

HIGHLIGHTS from the FRBRUARY MEETING

 The 151st Meeting

Thanks to all member’s support, we were able to make our 1^st Zoom online Contest a success and rewarding experience last Saturday!

The contest was opened by our president TM S with her uplifting opening message concerning Oriental Zodiac animal’s story. The contest chair, TM T‘s smile created a warm atmosphere thru the contest and eased the contestant’s nervousness. And thank you VPE, TM K, and all role takers for working hard to conduct it smoothly. It was a good experience for us to learn new skills and experience new things.
 Two representatives were selected to join the Area contest on March 13.

Aside from the Club contest, we had one more amazing event. All of us were very happy to have the Induction Ceremony of TM T. We look forward to sharing his energy, work and effort moving forward!

According to TM S’s opening message, 2020 was the year of Rat, it is the animal of running and hiding. 2021 is the year of Ox. There is a folklore. Ox has the power to cure the disease. If someone has some sort of ailment and they rub the corresponding part of the ox’s body, they can pass their pains on to the ox. Hope the animal of 2021 vanishes COVID19 and we could have the face-to-face meeting again soon.

HIGHLIGHTS from the JANUARY MEETING

 The 150^th Meeting, January 16^th, 2021

 

The first club meeting for this year was convened with members and guests sharing the same passion to learn, to grow, and to have meaningful exchanges that will foster language competence and dynamic leadership skills.

The warmth atmosphere which prevailed thru the whole meeting was opened by the President TM S as she sent greetings from the other side of the globe.

The Word Master, TM C encouraged everyone to use the word “pragmatism/pragmatic” during the meeting. It is a word that is not usually used or heard, but its meaning and usage can be much felt as we go about our daily lives.  

The “advance organizer” was the News Master, TM K. She has made everyone focused on her mind-boggling question as to whether “Carlos Ghosn, a Criminal or Not?” She gave a detailed and a fully researched news update of Ghosn’s get-away escapade and his new lifestyle in Lebanon. 

The “heart of the meeting,” relied on the Prepared Speeches, the Evaluation Session, and the Table Topics Session.

The 3 speakers, TMs K, N, and S delivered delightful, informative, and had uplifting messages in their speeches.   

The 3 evaluators, TMs F, C, and Y gave praises as well as constructive suggestions for improvement in speech making and delivery. This is the core of “being nurtured in toastmastering.”

The Table Topics Session as led by TM A made the members and guests recall about the “New Year” in terms of experiences, beliefs, and customs. It was good to hear various speakers talk on certain assigned topics related to new year’s theme.

I congratulate first the TOD TM A for her preparation, coordination, and good time management that made the meeting run on smoothly. Next, the significant minor and major role toastmaster takers, TMs K and T.

 And lastly, to all the members and guests who have made the 150^th club meeting a “GREAT” success and a rewarding experience!!!

Highlights from December Meeting

The 149th Meeting December 19,2020

 The regular meeting looked like Christmas meeting. President S appeared wearing the funny Christmas hat which gave us a cozy atmosphere.  Some members’ background of the zoom were in Christmas decorations. 

 In addition to the regular meeting with prepared speech session, table topics session and evaluation session, there was “induction corner” under the title Is there a Santa Claus?. Pictures and music on the screen, reading voice by TM S took us to the Christmas world.  We had only two speakers.  I hope we will have more speakers at next meeting, Table topic session was different from the usual one.  Table topic master TM A gave some comments about each speaker. It needs some technique for summarizing speeches in short time.  

 Evaluation is important part of our activities.  To improve communication skills we need positive suggestions. 

 As a whole our meeting was enjoyable and successful.

Highlights from November Meeting

 The 148th Meeting November 21,2020

Today’s meeting was a special Joint Meeting with ASHIYA Toastmasters Club. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn many new things from many new friends. 

Toastmaster of the Day: K.K., Theme for this meeting: Autumn Leaves

Word of the day: Serendipity. The meeting created a wonderful serendipity!

The meeting started with a self-introduction rally as an icebreaker. It was fun to know everyone’s “favorite things or activities in Autumn” Thank you M.K., we enjoyed interacting with ASHIYA Toastmaster Club members on Zoom!

There were 8 prepared speeches.

1st Speaker TM Y.C. “Comments from an Immigrant “

I love the expression, digital immigrant. Thank you for pointing out the merits and demerits of both the analog and digital world.  You used the visual aids really effectively. I don’t think you are a digital immigrant!

2nd Speaker TM T.I. “What is your personal song?”

She introduced three memorable pieces of music which induce happy emotions to herself.  It is also interesting to know that personal songs stimulate dementia people to socialize. It was a resourceful story. 

3rd Speaker TM R.H. “ Teacher Lyn . . . “

She shared the memory of when she first joined Toastmaster's club in 2001. I am surprised to hear the evaluator of her first speech was TM K.K., today’s toastmaster of the day! What a long and beautiful relationship they have built. It was interesting to know the serendipities that led her to become a teacher and a toastmaster.

4th Speaker TM M.W.  “Laugh lines “

The episode with her grandma convinced us that the smile has a power to make people happy. I will try to keep smiling to have lovely laugh line like your grandma. Your story vividly described what a wonderful family and happy life your grandma had. 

5th Speaker TM M.A. “Balanced Choice “

She presented a proposal regarding plastic waste. Recently she keeps creating and delivering the speeches at almost every meeting. I admire her energy. Thank you for the resourceful speech. 

6th Speaker TM M.Y. “Pre-toast Speech for after Joint Meeting Party “

The beautiful scarf really suited her and worked well to let us imagine the party scene. She introduced the distinctive points of both ASHIYA and SENRI club. It helped us understand both club's features and similarity more. 

7th Speaker TM T.F. “Sumo Wrestling “

He always does detailed research on his speech topic. After listing to his speech, we will be able to enjoy the Sumo tournament even more.

8th Speaker TM Y.K. “Inaugural Address“

This was a special funny project. The objective of the speech was to handle a difficult audience. During his formal speech, some people disrupted it by cutting in, chatting with others, or not paying attention because of shyness. We enjoyed watching and listening to how he managed a disruptive audience.  It was amazing to see how creative we can be on Zoom! 

We learned a lot about improving speaking skills from 8 evaluators and the skillful General Evaluator, C.M. 

Thank you ASHIYA members, it was a valuable experience to have the joint meeting with you.

 Toastmaster of the Day: A.S.  

 The ongoing issue with the coronavirus and its effect on our members has been

a big challenge. We are trying to make every online meeting enjoyable,

creative and heart- warming-- even though we are confined to boxes on a computer screen.

Today’s meeting started with asking everyone “ What was your happiest moment this month”?

We found out that two members celebrated their birthday this month! Congrats to RA and RH!

Wishing you the best!  Tm JC, who joins us on Zoom from Okinawa,  announced the publication of his new book on Political Science! Tm TF met his grandsons for the first time since February! Tm EI found a new divine Bakery in Nishinomiya!  Tm FT was able to play volleyball with her team for the first time in months!

  The first speech was an Ice Breaker entitled” My Special Dots “ by Tm MK.  It is the first speech in the Educational Program.  Tm MK highlighted his speech by including a personal story about how he  was able to build a trusting relationship amongst his collegues when he started his new job in London. We all love to hear stories.  What a wonderful technique to capture the audience!  I admire his ambitiousness!

 The second presentation was from guest speaker Tm R K B. , President of Marine Parade Toastmasters Club in Singapore.  Her speech was based upon Project 5, High Performance Leadership(2). The objective of the speech was to implement a plan to complete a mission.  Standing in front of the camera, she used the small space around her, moving side to side and back and forth.  Her delivery skills were powerful and she captured the audience to the end.  I admire her enthusiasm.     The third speaker, Tm EI,   gave an Icebreaker entitled, Love What I Do.     Now I know what kind of work she does and how much she enjoys her job.   Judging on her power point presentation, Toastmasters has helped her build her confidence and organization skills.  She’s a busy professional, busy mother and busy Toastmaster. I admire her diligence!

Highlights from September Meeting

Toastmaster of the day: TM F. T. 

Today’s meeting started on time as usual. We were very happy especially because a new member TM M.K. joined the club. We’re looking forward to his wonderful speeches.

Word of the day: TM R. H.         

Captivate, Captivating: Today TM. R.H. introduced these words showing the meanings on the screen,

“attract and hold the interest and attention.”  Let’s use these words in our meeting today.

Prepared Speech Session

1. How did I join Toastmasters clubs? (TM K.Y.)

One of my friends made a wonderful speech in the USA. He introduced me ETS Toastmasters club. Then 

I joined the club. Half years later, I moved to Japan and found Senri Toastmasters Club. Now I am happy to be a member of the club.

 (The speaker showed us some pictures with his interesting memories. His speech tells us it is very important to put a great value on encounters with people.)

2. Watch China and US (TM T.N.)

 The two world powers worry the world. China’s success is based on its state-supported business and on its efforts to steal foreign intellectual property rights and exploit other countries secretly under the name of globalization. The US hasn’t tried to overcome its racism against black people. China and the US are lacking in law and international order.

(The speech started with Sumo wrestler-gestures. Soon we got that the two countries in the hot topic of world news were compared to the wrestlers on the sumo ring-dohyo. The content of the speech was deep about world affairs. Her gestures, however, helped the audience involved in the speech.) 

3. Take the Stage (TM H.T.)

  The speaker was telling us how we, members, can grow as public speakers with his personal experience. The goal of the speech contest is not only to win. He recommends that we can make use of the stages of various speech contests to be better and appealing speakers. He made the speech very informatively and enthusiastically, changing tones and keeping eye contact naturally. Those things might be what he has got from his contest careers. Thank you.

Highlights from August Meeting

 “Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.” (Eleanor Roosevelt) Toastmaster’s meeting is a good opportunity to listen to the other’s story and learn from their experience. Here below are the highlights of our August meeting.

Toastmaster of the Day: TM R.H.

Word of the day: TM A.S. /Usage of Simile & Metaphor

Instead of a “word”, she asked members to use “phrases” using” simile and metaphors”.  

For example, Busy as a bee, budding rose, kind as your Grandmother, strict as your teacher, they are the mirrors of you, your speech was half baked, like a samurai sword. We were able to find many Simile and Metaphor in the meeting!

Speech Title: Coaching

Takamoto Mouri, Shouin Yoshida and Hirobumi Ito…how can we coach subordinates like these Meiji heroes? He advised us to approve other's ideas first instead of insisting on our idea.

It was a nice educational speech and he was also good at using a metaphor, “They are the mirror of you”.

 

2nd speaker: TM M.A.

Speech Title: Believe and Smile

By sharing the memories with her music teacher, she talked about the qualities of a good mentor. A good mentor is someone who is respectful of others and builds a personal relationship. “Believe and Smile”, then the audience is yours… it was a good conclusion!

 

3rd speaker: TM H.T.

Speech Title: Half-baked speech

The brilliant command of English is one of his strong points. He encouraged us to 1. Schedule the next speech first, 2. Have the story/ message bank, 3. Revise old speech. It was a meaningful speech for us. And “Half-baked speeches” was a great metaphor!

Today I would like to share my thoughts on what kind of leader I would like to be. I believe listening is one of the most important skills in becoming a good leader. As you may know, the Greek philosopher Epictetus said, We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.” But even so, listening can be a challenging skill to master. Now, I’d like to introduce 3 practices which can help us become better listeners.

Speech Title: Fermented food

TM T.F. always studies the speech topics carefully and provides specialized information. He knows really well about farming and health. The topic he selected today was Fermented food. By learning the merit and risk of them, he made us want to try Fermented food after listening to his speech. It was a nice educational speech to motivate us and enrich our food life.

 

3rd speaker: TM M.A.

Speech Title: Inconvenient truth

It was a new style of speech. She spoke from the view of her dog, SAKURA. By showing the street pictures taken from low angle, she invited us to the dog’s world and explained the problems on the urban street that was hard to find from the view of human. Her voice was cute just like a puppy. It was a new way to enlighten the audience by using Zoom technology.

Highlights from June Meeting

 As a measure to curb the spread of coronavirus, we had a zoom meeting instead of a F2F meeting in June also. It seems it helped us improve our online presentation skills! Here below is the highlight of June meeting:

 

 The first session was the Prepared speech session. The speakers organized and delivered the speech based on their manuals.

 

1^st speaker: TM F.T.

Speech Title: What the pandemic brought us

Manual: Leadership Development Level 1; Project 4. Researching and Presenting Research and present an unfamiliar topic; organize the speech clearly to maximize audience understanding; craft clear and engaging transitions between main sections of your speech;  use and cite sources to support speech content, make source list available

Summary:

COVID-19 brought us Chaos, but it also brought us ‘clean air’ thanks to the lockdown.

We noticed that if we want to, we can recover the better environment. One possibility to do it is ‘sharing economy’, which young people in particular are interested in. In addition

to matching platforms such as ‘Merucari’ and ‘Uber’, unique businesses like ‘goat sharing service’ are getting popular. In the future we will see more diverse businesses in this field, which will stimulate the economy. Young people prefer sustainable economy rather than economy burdening environment. So middle-aged and older people as well as government should support them because they are our future.

Speech Title: The Candlelight

Manual: Interpretive Reading; Project 4. The Play                                            

Adapt a play for interpretive reading; Portray several characters in one reading, identifying them to the audience through voice changes and movement.         

Summary:

It was a Japanese RAKUGO story about a lazy and greedy man’s life. As it has consisted of dialog and inner thoughts of some characters, it was a good opportunity for the speaker to practice the vocal variety and the movement.                                    

 

The second part was the Table Topic session. Some speakers were selected randomly and asked questions to deliver impromptu speeches.

Highlights of May Online Meeting

News Master: A presentation about any current event  3 min  by Tm F: This was an  interesting presentation which introduced how the Corona Virus has affected the Sumo Tournaments. 

" Regretfully to be announced, the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament has been canceled due to avoidance of the corona spread.
But all wrestlers now well prepared for the opening of the Nagoya(namely Ryougoku) tournament in July by practicing  much harder" Shiko(四股)” than before, to kick out the strong virus into the ground to show Shinto sprit..."

A new deadly virus has spread to a great number of countries.  The number of patients is even now increasing in the world.  Its outbreak occurred in Wuhan City, China, last December.

The new deadly virus belongs to the coronavirus.  It’s called COVID-19 and very similar to the SARS coronavirus, so it has a strong power to infect humans and cause serious illnesses.        

Chinese authorities say, “Since we shut down the seafood market, brought many doctors, and locked down Wuhan, there have been no reports of new cases of the new coronavirus in the city.”

However, a professor at Hong Kong University, famous as one of the first to decode the SARS coronavirus explains.....

You may want to work on using more descriptive language to appeal to the audience. For example, my teacher was charismatic and patient. He was an active listener and made me feel confident.  The leadership skills you mentioned were clear and easy to relate to.  As a mother, I was able to relate to your teacher and how he motivated you.

Introduction:  Growing up in Hawaii, I've naturally grown a deep connection to the Hawaiian Islands. I love to look up at the sky at night and gaze at the beautiful stars that shine so brightly above the mountain tops. Today I'd like to call attention on a current issue surrounding one of the beautiful mountains in Hawaii, Mount Mauna Kea. Mauna means mountain and Kea means white. 

Part of the Conclusion: The last and most important reason is for the concern of cultural aspect. Since ancient times, Mauna Kea has been considered sacred and the most spiritual mountain in Hawaii. If you think that snow does not exist in Hawaii, you will be surprised to know that that you can actually see snow on the slopes of Mauna Kea in winter. It is believed that the Goddess of Snow, the beloved Poliahu presides on the mountain. The level of spirituality could be compared to that of Mt. Fuji or Mt. Koya, which are sacred sites of heaven in Japan.

Your presentation was held on line.  So you prepared to suit the on-line surroundings, and gestures also were made to suit on line.  This is also good point.  Opening started with your gentle smile, which made us relaxed. You talked about Mauna Kea showing some pictures and maps etc. So we could know Mauna Kea which is beautiful and mysterious.

About the problem on TMT construction and pollution of nature so on, I would like to know more in detail. If you had more time explaining about the problems concerning TMT construction and keeping nature with plants, trees and flowers in Mauna Kea, it would make your speech more exciting and attractive.

Your presentation was smooth and enjoyable. I would like to have it again.

Area 63 Speech Contest

We held our annual club speech contest on February 15,2020.  Congratulations to Tm MK, Tm AS and Tm TK!

The Area 63 Contest was held at Yodogawa Kumin Center on Feb. 29.   Senri TMC member Tm MK won 1st place and Tm AS won second place in the English Contest.  Tm MK also won 2nd place in the Japanese Contest. 

Interview Question: What does Toastmasters mean to you?  Answers: "A happy place."

" A place where I meet good people who inspire me a lot! "

千里TMC139回定例会（レポート）

令和二年、最初の例会は久しぶりにコラボのベースルームに戻り開催されました

メンバー14名とゲストには過ってのメンバーY.Kさんが参加されました

今回TOMDを務められるのはA.Sさん　テーマ―は“JOY”

事前に各自にショートスピーチを依頼されていて、セッションの合間に５名の方が

今日の言葉“SQUEEZE”（ワードマスターＥ.Ｉさん提供）も織り込んで、それぞれ

身近な喜びの発見について言葉を「絞り出しながら」述べられました

M.Kさん、R.HさんはJOYを使った折句も披露　さすがプロですね

次には定例の準備スピーチについて

最初のスピーカはアイスブレイカーのY.Cさん

日英ともご堪能でご自身の趣味（旅行）を通しての自然や人々とのふれ合い・出会いに

ついて紹介されました（屋久島は素晴らしいところですね！）

二人目は最近Evaluatorも経験され、またスピーチにも磨きをかけられているM.Iさん

PKO（国際連合平和維持活動）に引っ掛けての家庭内PKO活動についてユーモアも入れ

かつ心理的分析による対応策も示されて非常に為になるお話でした

ラストは超ベテランのR.Hさん

今回は上級コースマニュアルFacilitating　Discussionの最終プログラム（Reaching　a

Consensus）に基づく討論統括型スピーチを披露されました

今回も全員参加型で問題・トピックス（Plan　for　2020）の列挙から絞り込みに至る統括

話法を示され興味深いものがありました

全５回に渡る統括話法（Panel　Discussion、Brainstorming含）は通常のパブリック

スピーチとはまた違う話法であり非常に勉強になりR.Hさんありがとうございました　

それと最上級コース（ACG）修了おめでとうございます

以上の準備スピーチでしたが、今回はR.Hさんがスピーチ時間オーバーでベストスピーカーはなしでした

次に評価スピーチについては

各評価者、評価手法・各スピーカのObjectivesに基づき卒なく評価スピーチをされました

実のところ各準備スピーチ（スピーカー）の構成・デリバリーが良く、余り批点・改善が見当たらないようでしたが、マナー面で的確な指摘をされたT.Kさんがベスト評価賞を

受けられました

最後にテーブルトピックススピーチについて

マスターはF.Tさん　トピックスは　What’s　JOY　for　you（famous　figure）？

丁度たまたま今回のテーマ―“JOY”を取り入れての、著名・有名人になりきっての

即興スピーチを行うというものでした

因みになりきる人は（オバマ元大統領、アマゾンCEO、林おさむ、明石家さんま、トムクルーズ、クインエリザベス、トランプ大統領、そして　あのゴーンさん）

ゲストY.Kさん含め８名が即興スピーチをされました

その人になりきるのではなく、間違ってその人についてスピーチをされた方もおられましたが、時の人、トランプ、ゴーン（二人共にFAKER）に徹し流ちょうに演出されたA.SさんとT.KさんがダブルでベストTTS賞を獲得されました

TMOD　A.Sさんのいつもの楽しい愉快な演出もありオンタイムでの閉会となりました

合間に入るあのサイレンの音なかなか良かったです。また使いましょう

次回の例会（２月１５日）はクラブコンテストです
